What you are buying, and what we promise

The contracting party is Nikhil Seth, trading as IVYBootcamps Consulting. We operate from Thryve Coworking, Plot No 3, First Floor, Next to Neelam Chowk Metro Station, 18/1, Mathura Road, Faridabad, Haryana 121007, India. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean that business.

IVYBootcamps Consulting is the trading name of Nikhil Seth. IVYBootcamps is the name on the site, the report and the emails, and My IVYLeague Prep is the product. The business that takes your money, owes you the report and answers a complaint is the entity named above.

“You” means the person who accepts these terms and pays. Where the student is under 18, that person is their parent or lawful guardian, and the next section explains why that matters.

These terms, together with the privacy notice and the refunds and cancellation policy, are the whole agreement between us. Nothing said in a phone call, a WhatsApp message or an advertisement adds to them or takes anything away.

My IVYLeague Prep is built for students in Grades 9 to 12 and for school leavers in a gap year, applying to universities in one of 6 destinations. Most of them are children in law, which is why the position above is not a formality: under Indian law a minor cannot bind themselves to a contract, and we would rather say so than take a payment and pretend otherwise.

If the student is 18 or over — which is common in Grade 12 and in a gap year — they may accept these terms and pay for themselves.

By accepting, you confirm that what is entered at intake is true. The grade, the curriculum, the target entry year and the destination in particular decide which form of the assessment is served and which rubric weights the pillars are scored against. A wrong grade or curriculum does not produce a slightly worse report; it produces the wrong report. If something was entered incorrectly, tell us and we will re-score rather than let you act on it.

One account belongs to one student. Keep the sign-in details private. You are responsible for what is done through your account, and you must tell us at once if you think somebody else has access to it.

The price is what you actually pay. It is the number on the advert, the number on the unlock screen, the number on the gateway's own payment sheet and the number the gateway is asked to collect. It is in Indian Rupees and it is inclusive of tax. There is no delivery charge, no handling charge and no convenience fee.

No GST is charged on this price and none is shown, so the document you receive is a payment receipt rather than a tax invoice. Should that change, the price you see will not move — the tax would be carved out of it rather than added to it, and the receipt becomes an invoice.

Payments are taken through Razorpay. Your card number, CVV, UPI PIN and net-banking password are typed into Razorpay's own form and never reach our servers. We never see them, and we cannot store what we never receive. What we do keep is set out in the privacy notice.

Nothing is unlocked until Razorpay confirms to our server, over a signed channel, that the money arrived. A browser that returns to the site cannot unlock anything by itself. If a payment leaves your account but nothing unlocks, that is our problem to fix and not yours to prove: contact us and we will trace it against the gateway's record.

A payment does not make you a member of anything and does not renew. There is no subscription and nothing recurring. You pay once, for one report, on one assessment.

Everything here is delivered electronically. Nothing is shipped, nothing is couriered, and there is no delivery charge. The report unlocks in your account within 5 minutes of a confirmed payment — normally within seconds — and the PDF is downloadable from the same screen. If nothing has opened within 24 hours, treat that as our failure and tell us: that is the point at which we owe you either the report or your money. The full position is on the delivery page.

A report stays unlocked on the assessment it was bought for. It does not expire, and you can sign in and download it again whenever you like. It does not carry across to a second assessment: if the same student sits a different destination, or sits the same one again a year later, that is a new assessment with its own free index and its own unlock.

The full position — what is refundable, what is not, and how long a refund takes to reach your bank — is set out on the refunds and cancellation policy, which forms part of these terms. It is written there rather than repeated here so there is only one version of it to keep true.

One thing worth knowing before you buy, so nothing on that page is a surprise. The report is delivered complete in the same moment it is paid for, so a change of mind after it has been opened is not a ground for a refund. A duplicate charge, or a payment that settled and left the report locked, is refunded in full — those are the cases where the money was never properly ours.

The assessment questions, the rubric and its weights, the scoring code, the course, university and scholarship mapping, the report design, the site and everything on it belong to us.

Your essays remain yours. You wrote them, you own them, and nothing here transfers a word of them to us. We hold them to score the assessment and to produce the critique you asked for, and for nothing else — see the privacy notice for exactly who sees them and for how long.

Your report is yours too. You may keep it for as long as you like, print it, and show or send it to whoever you think should see it — a parent, a school, a tutor, another counsellor, a university. You do not need our permission and you do not need to ask. That is what you bought.

What you may not do with it is sell it, publish it commercially, present it as your own work or as somebody else's product, strip our name off it, alter the numbers in it, or use it to build a competing assessment. Sharing a report about your own application is normal. Selling copies of it is not.

We may describe the product publicly using anonymous, aggregated statistics — how many students have sat it, how the bands are distributed. We will never publish, quote or show an identifiable student's essays or results without written permission from that student and their parent.

We will produce the report with reasonable care and skill. Where we get something wrong, we will fix it — re-score an assessment, re-issue a report, or refund what was paid for the thing that failed.

Beyond that, and to the extent Indian law allows, our total liability to you for anything arising out of these terms is limited to the amount you actually paid us for the report the claim relates to. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss: a missed application deadline, a rejected application, a place at a university, an examination result, a visa refusal, lost earnings, or a decision taken on the strength of the report.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here takes away a consumer's rights under Indian consumer protection law. If a clause is found to be unenforceable, the rest stands.

Things outside our control. We are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control — an internet or power outage, the failure of a payment gateway, a hosting provider or a model provider, a strike, a natural disaster, an epidemic, or an act of government. Where such an event stops us delivering something you have paid for, we will deliver it late or refund it; we will not simply keep the money.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks the acceptable-use rules above, is used to abuse or threaten our staff, or is used fraudulently. Where we do that and you have paid for something you have not yet received, we will refund it — unless the breach is the reason we cannot deliver it.

You may close your account at any time by writing to talktous@ivybootcamps.com. Download your report first: closing the account removes your access to it.

We may also withdraw or change the product itself. If we withdraw something you have paid for and not yet received, you get your money back.

These terms are governed by the law of India. The courts at Faridabad, Haryana have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of them. We would much rather settle a disagreement on the phone, and in practice almost everything is settled that way.

We may update these terms. When we do, the effective date at the top changes, and a material change — to price, to what the unlock includes, to refunds or to liability — is emailed to the address on the account before it takes effect.

The terms that apply to your purchase are the ones in force on the day you paid, not the ones on this page next year. We keep previous versions and will send you the one that applied to you on request.
